Dr. Dan Garganera

Dr. Dan Garganera Dr. Dan Garganera achieved his Medical degree at a university in the Philippines, graduating Magna Cum Laude, recognized as the Best Medical Intern, and was awarded One of the Top Outstanding Students of the Philippines by the President. He continued his Residency at Westlake Community Hospital and Rush St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago; completed his Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Loyola Medical Center with some published Medical research studies done at Loyola and at Hines Veterans Hospital. He had worked in a medically underserved HIV/AIDS clinic in Joliet, IL, from 2002-2008; and from 2002 to present, he’s serving with his group in private practice, Southwest Infectious Disease Associates (SWIDA), as a board certified Infectious Disease specialist, with special interest in HIV-AIDS and viral Hepatitis, among others. Currently, he serves as the Medical Director of the Will County Sunny Hill Tuberculosis Clinic, and a Medical Advisor for the Will County Health Department. He’s been blessedly married for more than 20yrs, with one happy child. For Dr. Garganera, “Practicing my profession is something I consider my calling in life; I serve with conscience, and I strive for my patients to obtain the best medical treatments available so they could achieve a happy and healthy life.
